We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Services following notice of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

The Astral Society provides an online platform delivering personalised Vedic astrology readings, horoscopes, birth chart analysis, transit tracking, compatibility reports, and related astrological content (collectively, the “Services”). Our Services are available via our website and any associated mobile or desktop applications.

Service availability

We strive to maintain continuous availability of the Services but do not guarantee that the Services will be available at all times or free from interruption. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice.

All astrological content provided through the Services — including horoscopes, birth chart interpretations, transit analyses, compatibility readings, and any other astrological material — is intended for entertainment, personal reflection, and educational purposes only.

Astrology is not a science. The Astral Society makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any astrological content. Nothing in our Services constitutes professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to medical, psychological, financial, legal, or relationship advice.

You should not make important life decisions solely on the basis of astrological content. Always consult qualified professionals for advice relating to your specific circumstances.

Nature of AI content

Many of our readings and interpretations are generated using artificial intelligence and large language models. AI-generated content is produced algorithmically and may not reflect the views, opinions, or professional judgment of any human astrologer. The Company does not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or appropriate for your individual circumstances.

Limitations

AI systems can produce incorrect, inconsistent, or offensive output. If you encounter content that appears harmful, inaccurate, or inappropriate, please report it to us immediately at [email protected].

To access certain features of the Services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are held by persons under the minimum age.

Paid plans

Certain features of the Services are available only to subscribers with paid plans. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your designated payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected). All fees are stated in the currency shown at checkout and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.

Free trials

We may offer free trial periods for paid features. At the end of the trial period, you will be automatically charged the applicable subscription fee unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on annual subscriptions for first-time subscribers.

Price changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and we will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase.

Our content

All content on the Services — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, data compilations, and software — is the property of The Astral Society or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, or create derivative works from any content on the Services without our express written permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of any content you submit through the Services. By submitting content, you grant The Astral Society a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content in connection with operating and improving the Services.

Feedback

If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Services, you agree that we may use such feedback without any obligation or compensation to you.

You agree not to use the Services to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) impersonate any person or entity; (c) harvest or collect user information without consent; (d) transmit any unsolicited commercial communications; (e) attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or networks; (f) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services; (g) scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Services without our express written permission; or (h) use the Services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair them.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Astral Society and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (a) your use of or inability to use the Services; (b) any content obtained from the Services; (c) unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; or (d) any other matter relating to the Services.

Our aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Services shall not exceed the greater of (i) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (ii) £100.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Astral Society and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction where mandatory consumer protection laws apply, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under those laws.

Before filing a formal legal claim, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] so we may attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make good-faith efforts to reach a resolution within 30 days of receiving your written notice.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
